Many of you know that I have been running my own web hosting and web design business since 2000.  It's been kind of a self maintaining business, not really doing much but paying for itself.  Well, I've decided to start pursuing it more again.  I'm in the process of redesigning the website and I've also incorporated a new self service side of the business.  For people who know what they want and know how to do their own sites, I've setup a reseller account that has a completely automated system, from buying domains to hosting their site and email to offering marketing campaigns; it's all there.  I'm looking forward to expanding and being able to offer these services as well.  I will still be offering custom solutions to those who are not sure what they want and need a helping hand through the process.  I'll still be hosting on my own server for these custom solutions so that I can have total control of whatever resources are needed.

 I'll hopefully have the new site up soon.  I let you know when it is.

What a fiasco.  We've been waiting for our business credit cards to come in before we finished setting up our accounts with distributors.   Well after 2 months, we finally got them.  So we are back on task again.  We didn't make my original deadline for a Grand Opening, but that was just my timeframe.  We will be up and running here shortly and I'll give another update when we have a set date for the Grand Opening.

This has been a really interesting journey so far and there is still so much to do.  Two friends and I have started a new business venture.  It started last year and we had a really good idea.  However, it's seems that every door we tried to go through was slammed in our face.  So we re-evaluated our goals and have started moving forward with another opportunity.  In the next few weeks we are hoping to go live.  We are opening our own sporting goods store online with emphasis on home rec rooms.  We will be selling billiards, table tennis, foosball, game tables, poker and casino equipment, as well as hunting, fishing, marine, outdoors, team sports, etc.  Pretty much a fully stocked sporting goods store. We have been contacting suppliers for the last 3 months and have finally got enough products lined up where we can "open our doors." 

On June 1st we will be starting a Grand Opening sale of 10% off everything on the site and an additional 5% for friends and family with a discount code.  If you are interested in finding our more about this, send me an email and I'll send you the code when that time arrives.

The site is www.cbisports.com.  Take a look around and let me know what you think or what we can improve on.  Currently there are not a lot of products listed to the public but as we get them all lined up, we will begin displaying them so keep checking back.

I'll be saying more in the next couple of weeks and I look forward to hearing some feedback.

So, I haven't been blogging at all.   Time flies.  It seems as though everyone is so busy these days.

Anyways, I thought I'd just post a new pic of my growing little boy. 

This was on Caleb's first plane ride.  We went up to Fort Wayne, Indiana the weekend before Thanksgiving.  
Caleb did great on the flight.  Mommy took good care of him.
